The Snake Parable
A woman heard a peck at her door. She opened the door to find a snake frozen to death and half dead in the cold. She nursed it back to health and warmed it up. She wanted to pet him and the snake bit her. As she lay dying, she said to the snake, "After all I did for you, why did you bite me?"
#Ladies...Many of you KNEW he was a snake when you first started dating your ex. Red flags were flying up everywhere, but you decided to override those flags and take him on as your project. You thought you could change him. The truth of the matter is only God can change a man. You had to learn the hard way after having to get hurt; being tied to a man that you had no business being with in the first place. God warned you and you didn't take heed to what He was trying to show you even in the midst of your sin.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE A UNION WITH A SNAKE
The story above is just a summarization of a woman welcoming a snake of a man with open arms; a woman who let her guard down only for her to get hurt in the end. You hear this man peck at your heart...with sweet words and empty promises he doesn't keep. You felt like he needed you. You felt as if waiting on God was taking too long. He claimed he had been hurt and you felt he should be the one to give your love to...you rebuilt his confidence and restored him to the image of himself before he got hurt. You gave your all to him he turned around and hurt you; so your heart into pieces. As you sat there with your broken heart, you said to your ex, "Why did you hurt me?"
He replied, "You knew I was no good when you met me."
The moral of the story is stop entertaining men who are not sent by God! Stop ignoring the red flags and blaming God for you getting hurt or becoming a single parent. Your children are get but there are consequences for each sin. Make a commitment to wait on God and stop making the same mistakes. Wait on God and stop making children out of wedlock; wait to have more children with your God ordained husband. You can pretend all you want but being a single parent isn't easy. So the next time a snake approaches you tell him to fall back and keep it moving. Let the devil know you are not entertaining nothing or no one that comes from him. Say today that you will submit to God's will. Anything else will have to fall into place. REMEMBER! If it slithers like a snake talks like a snake....IT'S A SNAKE! Wait on the one that God has just for you.
