The Snake Parable

A woman heard a peck at her door. She opened the door to find a snake frozen to death and half dead in the cold. She nursed it back to health and warmed it up. She wanted to pet him and the snake bit her. As she lay dying, she said to the snake, "After all I did for you, why did you bite me?" The snake replied," You knew I was a snake when you took me in." #Ladies ...Many of you KNEW he was a snake when you first started dating your ex. Red flags were flying up everywhere, but you decided to override those flags and take him on as your project. You thought you could change him. The truth of the matter is only God can change a man. You had to learn the hard way after having to get hurt; being tied to a man that you had no business being with in the first place. God warned you and you didn't take heed to what He was trying to show you even in the midst of your sin. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE A UNION WITH A SNAKE The story above is just a summarization of a woman...

WHY BUY THE COW WHEN YOU CAN GET ITS MILK FREE?

Most of us have heard this saying before from more seasoned people, but the words remain true. Ladies...If you haven't heard this saying, then this is about to be explained to you real quick. It is about time that you stop making this mistake so that you can get what you really deserve. First...I will give you a scenario. Here we go! Mara and Leland have been dating for a year and a half. This young lady has given this man everything. She's given him good sex, kept the house clean, cooked his food, made him lunches for work. She has even given Leland a child and cosigned for a car that he is driving now. Two years is approaching since the start of their relationship and she is looking to get married. Mara feels as if she is worthy of marriage now since she has shown Leland what good of a wife she can be to him. She decides that when he gets home from work and have a discussion with him. Leland gets home. She fixes his dinner and she sits down with her plate of food. She opens t...

If You Have To Hide Who You Are In God, He Is Not The One

There are many times that you should just pass on people that you will consider as a life partner. Some people aren't happy with themselves out here, and if you are not careful, you can get hooked with the wrong one. Your discernment has to be top notch and on point and make it a habit to pray about everything and anything. The devil is not playing when it comes to striving to take a woman of God out; he is after your destiny that God gave you and what better way to deter you is to send a man sent on assignment to destroy you. Does it say not in the word that the devil comes to kill, steal and destroy? The enemy is not playing, women of God. He will send someone your way that appears to have all of qualities that you want, but there will be something that stands out (if you are paying attention) that will be off.  As I mentioned before, when it comes to a counterfeit dollar bill, you will be able to tell the difference between that and the real dollar: one has a seal embedded in it...

WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR IN THE COURTSHIP PROCESS, PART 1

Many people get excited about being in a relationship and because they have been single for a long time, some can ignore the early red flags in a relationship. Courtship is a process, and it is not anything to breeze through in a day. There are things that you need to look out for. Does that person have a relationship with God? We should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. What does have light have in common with darkness? You can't save anyone; that person has to come to God on their own. Can the person apologize? There are people who will not take responsibility for their own actions and will shift the blame on you for everything, even thought there is no fault of their own. Please avoid people who have narcissistic characteristics; Jezebel is the spiritual term and goes hand in hand with the spirit of pride. You want someone who is sensitive to your feelings and takes responsibility for their own actions. Can that person wait until marriage to have sex? Many people disagree...

THE RED FLAGS AND GREEN FLAGS IN A MARRIAGE: DID YOUR FLESH PICK THEM OR GOD

? Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. When it comes to getting into a relationship, we need to make sure to seek God and make sure that it is the right connection from him or if it a wrong connection. We are to take everything to God and get his clarity and make sure we are on the right track and in the right place. We can't lean on our flesh and own understanding when it comes to choosing a partner. We must use the discernment that God gave us and not sit up there and ignore red flags. A sexual connection and/or bond doesn't mean that it is of God. There are many people that get together and are sticking together due to a trauma bond that was created between two people: a man and a woman. In Prov. 3:5 It says trust in the Lord with all your heart and LEAN NOT to your own understanding. We can't depend on our flesh to lead us, but we should only rely on the Holy Spirit. Proverbs 10:22 "The bl...

How To Break A Soul Tie

Some people don't understand why they keep getting back with the same person and being physical and emotional with them. Well, there is a soul tie that needs to be severed. The longer you were with the person, the longer the process it can be to break that tie entirely. God stated in His word to flee from fornication. This sin is dangerous to fall into and once you are in the mess, it can be hard for you to get out of. So, first things first! If you want to work on breaking soul ties, here are the things that you must do. Get rid of anything that the ex-boyfriend/girlfriend gave to you that you find to be of sentimental value when you were in a relationship with them. If they stayed over at your house and utilized any of your linen that you have in your place, get rid of that as well. You don't want to have anything in your house that reminds you of them if it was used on a regular basis. (This is optional...totally up to you." Block them on all social media platforms. If ...

When You Seek God, You Can't Go Wrong

It is true that God gives us a mind to think and make decisions, but it imperative that we don't make decisions without him, especially when it comes to dating and marriage, as well as even a job or relocation. We must pray about everything because the wrong decisions will affect our lives in a very negative way. At the moment, I mainly want to shed light about relationships because that is what most people desire to have, and many have not found that right man/woman. I truly believe that God listens to our wants and definitely our needs. The type of man/woman that you are wanting may not be what you need. I remember this show that I was watching and the lady on the show was saying that the man she married was not her normal type and that he didn't have any swag. Well, guess what? Her type that she went for in the dating world was what she wanted, but the husband she married was who she needed. Now her husband did make a few changes, but in my observation, he was great to me, a...

Some People Want The Attention From You, Not Your Advice

I have found with some people that when they ask you for advice or tell you about a situation, they don't want to get away from it or grow from it, but they just want your attention that you are giving. Sometimes you just have to let people figure things out for themselves. Some people know what it is that they need to do, but they don't want to do it or think that the decision is too hard. I notice that some people can be addicted to relationships that are a dead end and contain no growth in the connection. Believe it or not, you can't convert someone to treat you with love and respect, but you must have love and respect for yourself. If a relationship is not serving you in the way you'd like, you should way away, heal and allow God to send you someone who is worthy of what you have to offer. If you are entangled with a narcissist, that relationship is definitely a lost cause because no matter how much you love or do, there is nothing you can do but leave them to God a...

If You Fell For The Counterfeit, There Is Still Hope

Sometimes we can paint red flags as green flags, which result in hurting us in the long run. God will make it perfectly clear if a man or woman is from Him or not. We truly have to pay attention at the signs because people are cunning; that includes men and the women. It is not our job nor duty to change people. It is God that changes people and that man/woman will have to want to change, as well as take accountability for their actions. Many men and women you see on and off of social media have married a counterfeit that was an assignment from the enemy, but very few will admit it. Some people we meet we are just supposed (or may) be a brother or sister in Christ to--nothing more, nothing less. The counterfeits are not supposed to be one with you or be with you. As women and men of God, you are supposed to pass them up and wait for the man/woman that God has in store for you. When it comes to relationships, I am no expert, but I am experienced and have had many lessons when it comes t...

Emotional Incest: A Man and His Mother

If you are dating a man and he has a close relationship with his mother, that is a good thing. Now, what makes it a not-so-good thing is when the man is so close to his mother, and you feel like you are the other woman. If you are experiencing this in the dating stage, it best that you make a run for it! You find him putting his mother before you with the small things now and it will only get worse after you get married. There is a woman that I know who was dating a man and she thought that it was cool. She got to meet the man's mother and everything and she didn't see anything wrong or off at the time so everything seemed cool. Well, that woman married the man, moved in with him and his mother and all Hell broke loose. It was a nightmare from Hell. The mother thought that the wife was taking her place when all the mother was is what she was: his mother. She started telling lies about her and having private conversations with him and filling his brain full of junk about his ow...

How To Move From Independent to Interdependent Within Marriage

When you adjust to being interdependent, you will find it will go more smoother in the marriage when it comes to decisions, be open to submit to your husband as When people have been legally, physically or mentally single for a long period of time, they tend to have issues with releasing their independence and exchanging it for interdependence when it comes to becoming one in marriage. They are used to doing things by themselves and for themselves without the permission from another person. As ladies we tend to struggle with it the most, especially when someone owns their own business, financially established or has been a single mom for a period of years raising children on our own. So first things first. What is the different between being independent verses interdependent? Here are the definitions listed below: independent: not dependent; not subject to control by others As a single woman (or single mom) is a strength of independence that is gained; you have taken care of your...

What Is The Reason For The Single Season

Many ladies see their friends move into courtships, engagements and into marriages. Some think something is wrong with them and don’t understand what is the reason as to why they’re still waiting and their friends aren’t anymore; people are moving forward while you feel stuck and feeling forgotten. Listen. You have not been forgotten, forsaken nor overlooked by God. There is a plan and purpose for your single season. 1 Corinthians 7:34 (KJV) 34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband. During this time you need to get to know more about your Maker and cultivate your relationship with Him. In your singleness you will learn to lean on God more and develop much more in your prayer life. This season of your life is imperative so that you can be cleansed, delivered from carnal min...

What To Do When Misery Wants Your Company

There are people in whom you will come across who always complain about each and every thing that is going on in their lives, even the things that are so petty that were not even worth mentioning. Some people like to hear themselves talk and have others listen for hours about things that are either beyond their control or actually can make changes and fix. You will find that after listening, you find your happy mood slowly starting to drain. So what do you do? Do you sit and keep listening to them or find a way out of the conversation? When you find yourself feeling their mood transferring to you, you shut them down and start praying and rebuking the enemy. The devil comes to kill, steal and destroy and he is after your joy! You have to be careful as to what you listen to and what you allow in your spirit. Let the person (family, friends, co-worker,etc.) know that you know there is power in prayer and they need to pray and ask God to bring peace into their circumstances. Misery i...

Somebody Wants You 💗

Stop believing the lies of the devil and feeling that nobody doesn’t want you because you are not valuable because you are not in a relationship. Your value and worth comes from Christ alone! God is preparing, shaping and molding you just like He is molding, shaping and molding your husband. Marriage is a ministry and both of you need to be stripped of things that are not like your Heavenly Father before you both come together as husband and wife. You two will not be perfect before you get married, but you two will come together to bring God glory. God is putting the finishing touches on both of you. Your time is coming so just not only be ready, but stay ready. While you are waiting, BE HAPPY FOR OTHERS!! Don’t think of being jealous of anybody. Sowing discord is a no-no and being a busybody is a no-no too. Ask God to strip you of any thoughts or deeds of that nature. Be careful of the company that you keep and continue to work on you. Remember…All things work together for the good to...

What To Do When The Ex Resurfaces

You have moved on with your life. You have licked your wounds and have become whole again. You have begun to look forward to the future and for what God has for you. You have been fasting and praying, as well as seeking God for the plan He has for your life. Out of nowhere, your ex pops back up in the picture, saying all of the things you’ve always wanted to hear. What do you do? KEEP IT MOVING! Don’t think about entertaining them. You’ve got over them and the last thing you want to do is open a door that God specifically shut for a reason. Let the ex stay an ex. They only say the things that you want to hear until their back in your good graces. They will revert back to their old ways and the heartache will be much more painful the second time around. Just because your ex has popped back in the picture doesn’t mean that you are supposed to get back with them. Don’t let the devil fool you! Don’t entertain the past for not even a moment. Cut off all communication with them to avoi...

How To Keep God First In Your Life

I have found sometimes in our lives that we have put God on the backburner. We get distracted by the cares and distractions of this world and there is a lot going on in our lives right now then what we desire to go on. We still need to keep our eyes on God because He is our Father and our constant love that we need and we cannot do anything alone nor without Him. in this life we will have a lot on our shoulders and it is He who bears our burdens. Matthew 22:37 “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” That scripture is what we should live by; He should always be in our hearts, soul and on your mind. When you wake up in the morning, pray and thank God for the day and for what He has done for you. Give Him the first part of your day and speak to Him before you talk to anyone else. He would love ❤ to be honored first and be thought of before anyone else. Praise and worship Him and worship Him in spite of...

Be A Sister, Not a Blessing Blocker

Ladies…Women of God…It is not right to call a person your sister if you are not acting like one to her…showing love and care as a sister should as a woman of God. Be real and not fake. Cut out all of this foolishness…You are not supposed to be operating by worldly standards…like you have no godly guidance, as if you don’t know God. You are not representing God well by sowing seeds of discord in the lives of your sisters in Christ. There is so much jealousy, envy among the ladies. It is ridiculous and God is not pleased with it. You are supposed to be His daughter, but sowing seeds of discord, confusion, and attempting to covet blessings that do not belong to you that God did not bless you with. Instead of praying for your sister, you’re talking about her and being her friend in secret. What happened to praying for your sister and lifting her up? As a woman of God, you are to represent the Kingdom of God. Where are the fruits of the spirit in your life? Did you forget that the spi...

A Bit About Who You Will Marry

There is no such thing as a perfect person and that includes the person that you will marry. People are under the impression that all of this stuff has to be in order before they walk down the aisle, but that is indeed not true. Some men/women will come with baggage from previous relationships/marriages; some may have bad credit and a lot of bills that they have to pay. Some of you who have no children will have a husband/wife who has multiple children or if you have one child, your husband/wife may have multiple children; some will have baby daddies/mamas and ex-husbands/wives. Look at the hearts. ❤ For the women who own their own businesses: You may make more than your husband but it doesn’t discredit him from being the head of the home nor does it give you a right to let him know in word, thought or deed that you make more money than he does; you still have to submit to him as unto the Lord. God made you successful to be a blessing to you both monetarily and now you two will b...

Let Fornication Go

There are some people on here who seem to struggle with letting fornication go! They think that by having sex outside of marriage will bring forth what they truly desire deep down in their hearts… a lifelong companion and someone who will love them unconditionally and it is not so. When a relationship is built on lust….it is bound to crumble. When a marriage is built on lust, it is bound to crumble. Many people have married people who they had no business marrying because they got tired of sinning and wanted to no longer have sinless sex. Premarital sex blinds you and will make you think you’re truly in love with that person and you can’t see clearly until the blinders are snatched off of your eyes to make you realize….that you were living a lie. The person you married had been one you created in your mind….but over time the true character came out and it showed you that they were the wrong one the whole time! Fornication brings damage to your soul and unlawfully connects you to ...

How To Cope With New Surroundings

When God calls you to move to another job or relocate, keep in mind that the circumstances will not always be uncomfortable. Yes. The excitement of moving to a new place is there but you will still gave moments of longing for the familiar and being comfortable in the old surroundings that you left. Moving to a place where you have a place to live, no job and possibly no means of transportation of your own can overwhelm any person. The last thing you want to feel is dependent upon another person and that all within itself can be stressful. Remember…things happen for a reason and there are moves that God has us make to stretch us and even bring forth more humility in us. It is during those times hidden insecurities surface to be wiped off by prayer and the blood of Jesus. Things may seem to be spiraling out of control and you can see no way to a breakthrough but that breakthrough is coming and you soon will have rest. Don’t give up or feel like you have to run back to the place (th...

The Pitfalls of Single Parenting

When you have a child outside of wedlock, you step outside of the divine order and plan of God. You can Him for forgiveness for sinning against Him but there are consequences for the act(s) of disobedience; experiencing difficulties you didn’t have and responsibilities over things that you have to do on your own. You have to financially support yourself and your child without (or minimal) help; have to go to court to get child support and talk the boy/man into stepping up and doing his part to even buys pack of diapers and a few bottles. IT IS HARD AND NOT EASY! I have seen people who have seen my struggles with being a single mom and raising them by myself and still go and get pregnant and have a baby too! Some thinking that having a baby is easy and that the same thing won’t happen to them and they will have it in order…turn around and deal with even worse struggles. Look. A man/boy will say anything good when you are still in that pregnancy shape, saying they will be there for...

Love God, Love You, Love People

People focus so much on whether another person loves them, pour out their heart and soul to another human being without loving themselves the same way. Before any of us can love another person we must loves ourselves first and get to know the One who is the source of love. Some people have a false perspective of love, as of it is all about them and them being pleasant all of the time. Well. That definitely is the wrong mindset because love is so much more than you know; that comes from the side of conditional love, loving that person as long as they do all of what you want. True love is sacrificial and in that love you will do things you may not feel like doing or forgiving a person for something they did or said to you and in certain situations it can be hard to do. We as human beings can be selfish and self-centered at times but is during those times that God will bring forth a dose of humility in a situation to purge you from being selfish and be more like Him. If you want to ...

Nobody's Perfect

There’s no such thing as a perfect person and all of us have flaws so don’t expect a person to be 100% great. Don’t allow people to criticize you and make you feel like you have to have all of your ducks in a row in order for you to step into a godly union. It is indeed not true and folks will feed you myths so you can stay stuck and feel down on yourself; the most insignificant and minute things can create a setback. You aren’t perfect and your mate will not be flawless; both of you will be each other’s mirrors and will have to sort out particular issues from both sides, past emotional and mental baggage. Things will be pointed out in you that needs to be plucked up out of you and vice versa; to separate what is holy and what’s not of God in each of you; at times it will hurt but it will be for your good. Both of you will learn and grow together and will be imperfectly perfect for one another. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, ...

Turn Your Heart Towards God

God is the One you will always need and He should always come first and foremost and without hesitation be priority. You must understand that human beings can only do so much and are imperfect and will bring forth disappointment. There will be times where you will be going through spiritual warfare and no one can help you but God; a man/woman can pray for you but it is God that will bring you through that difficult situation. When you find yourself feeling alone on the battlefield, God is right there with you and protecting you from all weapons of the devil and you being in the shadow of His wings, you will find refuge. The peace that passes all understanding is nothing that can come from a man or a woman, but it especially comes from your Heavenly Father, the Almighty God. Before you decide to give your heart to a man/woman, make sure you place your heart into the hands of God. Trials and tribulations come to purge, strengthen and draw us closer to God. You must know that God do...

How To Respond To Hard Times

Everyone is going through hard times and there are things we go through that are quite unexpected and overwhelming. You feel like your back is against the wall and no one seems to understand your frustration or pain. Some of you are living from paycheck to paycheck; day by day and just financially treading above water. It’s like you pay one bill and here comes something else. You are staying with relatives and no one is getting along; you can cut the tension in the air with a knife. Peace comes and goes and you just can’t wait to be out on your own and paying rent at your own house. People know you are in need and will not help nor refer you to someone that can assist you. There is so much to do and think about all at on time. Your loved ones don’t ease the frustration so what do you do? The first thing you need to do is pray and place your burdens in the hands of God. I know it is hard because you can’t see Him or what He is doing but God is present in your times of blessings an...

Why God Doesn’t Give All Details Of An Assignment

I just want to let you know that God is a just God and He loves us so much. You must understand the love He has for us is to be shown to other people. In this world, you are going to run into some difficult people; some will grow to like you while some never will. You must keep in mind we are not here to be liked but to win souls for Christ; not to be be well known and popular. Some of the assignments God gives can be revealed to you right away, along with the details; some will not and details be hidden for a long period of time. You will feel as if an assignment is so clueless and wonder, “What is going on?” In those moments, lean on God and He will show you everything you need to know. Some things you will feel “blind” to until due time. God knows His children and some of us have a stubborn streak that will not wait. In spite of the assignment, remember everything will work out for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes on the prize. God is pleased with your obedience. Trust ...

What To Do When You Are Suffering Persecution

As a man or woman of God, there will be trials and tribulations, ups, downs and disappointments. You may wonder there is a way of avoiding being falsely accused but there is not. If you find yourself in this position, the best thing to do is get on your knees to fast and pray. It doesn’t hurt to ask someone to intercede or to talk to someone to release your frustration. If you are single, there is less warfare but when you get married, it is twice the battle and warfare. Why? There are two people instead of one and the devil would like nothing better to chip away at the foundation you’ve built and to sift your marriage like wheat. This is jot the time to run or create distance between the two of you, but it is a time to pray. Trials are supposed to bring you closer together, not apart. I will say this and listen carefully. In marriage (or single), there will be battles you will need to face alone for your own spiritual growth and to draw closer to God. Any challenges we face in l...

Characteristics Of A True Man of God

Image
In this blog, I will be talking about the characteristics of a man cut from the cloth of God, a man that is worth waiting for and praying for. He will be the one that will be deserving of the love that you have to offer and what was given to the wrong people.  Many women know that we want a man who is nice and attractive, but what about his attributes? Below is the definition of what attributes mean. 😊 Attributes: A  quality or feature regarded as a characteristic or inherent part of someone or something It is very important to pay attention to the characteristics of a man and what he is displaying before you. You just can't marry anyone or create a soul tie with any man that comes along. You must be led by God as to who you will be married to and that is so important. There are many women on social media and outside of social media that married a man and thinking they got someone good, but it was only an imposter (counterfeit). There are times that women end up with a man wh...
