What To Do When The Ex Resurfaces

 You have moved on with your life. You have licked your wounds and have become whole again. You have begun to look forward to the future and for what God has for you. You have been fasting and praying, as well as seeking God for the plan He has for your life. Out of nowhere, your ex pops back up in the picture, saying all of the things you’ve always wanted to hear. What do you do?

KEEP IT MOVING! Don’t think about entertaining them. You’ve got over them and the last thing you want to do is open a door that God specifically shut for a reason. Let the ex stay an ex. They only say the things that you want to hear until their back in your good graces. They will revert back to their old ways and the heartache will be much more painful the second time around. Just because your ex has popped back in the picture doesn’t mean that you are supposed to get back with them. Don’t let the devil fool you! Don’t entertain the past for not even a moment.
Cut off all communication with them to avoid reigniting any desire to be with them again. The feelings of them are already dead so there is no sense in reviving them. God sent them away for a reason so leave that door shut. The past is the past. Never entertain the past when God has better in your future.

What you do for Christ is what will last. A relationship that is Christ-centered is what will last!
